Course Objective
WatchGuard XCS/QMS In-Depth
offers an introduction to WatchGuard’s Extensible Content
Security (XCS) and Quarantine Management Server (QMS)
appliances, focusing on their defense-in-depth capabilities
for email security and data loss prevention. The course
concentrates on installation, configuration, and management
of any XCS and QMS appliance. This course is intended for
the user new to WatchGuard XCS and QMS solutions.This course is intended for the user new to WatchGuard XCS solutions.
Audience
WatchGuard XCS Administrators and WatchGuard XCS Administrators.
Prerequisite
Before attending the class, you need a general understanding of basic networking concepts including network topologies, IP addressing, and subnets.
At Course Completion
Students will have an understanding of the WatchGuard XCS and QMS appliances and
their security capabilities. Students will also be shown how to better monitor
their XCS and QMS appliances.
Duration
Five days.
